Austin Park Review. Tarrytown Park in Austin: A Kid-Friendly Retreat Just Minutes Away

Well, you asked about the closest park, so I just left the property right over there. I'm on my bike, so we're just gonna go down to the closest park, and it's downhill from the property. It's up there, of course, coming back. It's called Tarrytown Park. And it's right at the end of the street here. Um, probably a, uh, five-minute walk. This is where most of the uh local children and. Dogs. Come. During the day, during the evening, today is particularly cold. Unusual day here in Austin, so you won't see much activity, but. This will give you a good sense of what it is. And here it is The question is if it's kid friendly, the answer is that it is kid friendly from the perspective that it has a lot of. Play areas for children has two in particular. Has this one. I should point out, if you have children, this is a nice one. And I'll go to the next one. Which is this one here, order. We're bigger, kiddos. This is, it'll give you a sense of the park, it's a, not a big park, it's not a small park. OK. You wanted to take a view of the traffic pattern around the park, um, it's a triangle. And this would be Um, it's, it's not very busy at all. This is. Kind of very neighborhoody. You go around. Um, so it's kind of a triangle. It goes around here. And Kind of comes around here. It's not a particularly pretty day today, but It's, uh, as I said, it's kind of a small park, but. It's a triangle and then it comes around. This is. The, um, at the end, this is what's called MAC, you see that barrier, that sound wall, that's actually a highway. But That traffic really doesn't come. To this neighborhood too, too much unless there's an accident. So. So anyway, this is the perimeter of the park. And this is The traffic pattern would come around here, but inside the park.
