Bustling The Drag. Exploring The Drag: A Day Near UT Austin's Bustling Center

Alright, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are doing another neighborhood rental check and showing you guys, uh, what it's like to stay near the drag on Guadalupe 24th in Austin, Texas. Uh, so yeah, we, um, well, one of the main. Busiest streets, you know, right over here by uh UT campus and so there's a lot of uh activity, uh, going on, pretty quiet, uh, morning though, uh, it's Sunday, so. Uh, During the daytime it's pretty quiet down here. Lots of people, uh, probably finish up their studying for the weekend, doing all our homework or whatever, and, uh, people visiting. I'm gonna grab coffee, lots of food this way, uh, so yeah, uh. Other than that, uh, yeah. Walking, I showed you guys the uh ramen Tot studio. Um, so you see right here is UT going up there. Cool Tower Um But yeah, lots of food, everything. There's uh down here, it looks like there's uh some food trucks and everything. Um, yeah, it's a cool little. Um, yeah, if you want to stay, well, let's walk back over this way. This way, I would say probably. I don't really see too much, uh, like apartments or anything like that or, uh, rental areas on the drag actually, but like if you go, uh, more towards the west, there's a lot, lot more student housing and things like that, um. And then we're going further north. Uh, it's gonna be more like apartments, uh, complexes, like actually some pretty cool neighborhoods over there and some really nice houses. Um, so, yeah, that would be my, uh, My biggest, uh, take out here on this side of town, but, uh, little gym that I didn't know about is they have a little ramen ttsia and, uh. We're gonna probably come here one time in the future. Let's come check it out and I also have this cool little shop, nice little gym. That we've got here, yeah, outside seating for this for the ramen spot. OK, cool. Anyways, uh, if you want to stay near the drag, Guadalupe 24th in Austin, Texas, this is what it feels like right now. Once again we are still here, uh, on Guadalupe 24th and um yeah, I'd say like the best streets and pockets I'd say is probably gonna be, uh, either west here of campus, um, or. More towards uh. I'd say, oh yeah, more towards the north, more towards the north. So we go north, we go west towards campus, uh, like west towards uh South Lamar, there's gonna be lots of houses over there. It's a lot of student housing over there as well, so, you know, um, if you're younger, you probably might want to stay in that little area so you can find, find cool things to do, but, um, yeah, but you know, this is gonna be the closest, uh, strip for. Uh, you know, food, your bars, um. Cafes, all that kind of stuff. Uh, there's, you know, Rapolo's, there's a Rapolo's over here, there's, uh, Cava, there's Einstein bagels, there's hole in the wall, uh, for live music venue, um. Yeah, uh, Starbucks on the street. Get your car fixed. There's a lot of, there's a lot of things to do here. So, um, and then UT, so you're not too far away from the stadium, probably about. Uh, 10 or 15 minutes.
