Austin Neighborhood Vibe. Exploring Austin's Holly Shores: A Tranquil Residential Experience by Lady Bird Lake

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are walking, uh, right now near Holly Shores and Ladybird Lake Trail in Austin, Texas. Uh, and, uh, yeah, we're just giving you guys a view of the neighborhood, um, potential, you know, uh, booking location. Um, so if you're looking to get an Airbnb and wanna just kinda know what the area is looking like, uh, over here by Holly, Holly Shores. Uh, this is, this is pretty much it. It's pretty quiet right now. Um, this is more of a residential area. Um, you've got some, uh, good mixture of houses. You got some, uh, more of these modern houses, which I really like. I really like this one, this, this, this kind of design. This actually looks like a guest house with a. Another house cuz these are, yeah, the the architecture here is. Very similar in both buildings, so I think this is just one whole house unit, but um. Yeah, very cool, uh. Cool little area over here. We've got some older homes over as well, but yeah, for the most part, it's pretty chill. Um, seeing a lot of native, native plants around here. It's good. Um, and then you got a couple of houses in construction. doesn't look too, uh, Doesn't look like it's uh. You know, like one of those projects that's gonna be real loud or anything like that, but it's very nice. This is a Garden Street where we're at right down here, but uh I'll show you guys that and we'll walk back over and. Kind of give you guys a little overview of like what's around, what's close by, um, as I made my way over here. Uh, But yeah, uh. Other than that, it's pretty uh. Pretty warm day in Texas. It's supposed to be about 72, a little blustery though, windy. Street. Yeah, that's the good vibes over here. I like it, uh. So Let's check it out. It doesn't seem too sketchy. Seems like a. I love these little alleyways, uh, down here, it's just. Yeah, this is, this is a great place to find some uh Some cats for sure, and it just goes all the way the other way. Let's see, I think that's going all the way down to uh Waller. Well, There might be like a little interruption there, but yeah, it's, it's, it's honestly kind of a killer view like I think, I think that's like you would shoot a music video down that alleyway or something like that. But anyways, uh, Yeah, that's gonna be uh capping off our uh first little rental check of this area. We're gonna hop in and do a couple more, show you guys more uh areas to stay. Near Holly Shores, we're in Holly and Lynn right now, and, uh, yeah, I'm just showing you guys a little bit of the area, showing you guys what's going on out here, uh. I don't know if that person knew me or not, but that's cool. Got a honk. Um, anyways, uh, yeah, we'll just tell you guys. Uh, we got a. Pretty, pretty quiet, uh. Environment going right now but uh we are probably about 6 blocks away from uh Cesar Chavez. Uh, it's gonna be our closest area for you know go to get some food or some the bars or whatever you guys wanna do um, there's a couple of venues out this way and then, uh. We're on towards this direction, towards the south, uh, it's gonna be Ladybird Lake. Um, it's got a good hiking trail over there. So, um, to walk that whole Ladybird Lake Trail. Um, they just added the, uh, new bridge over there. So, um, the, it's like the Wishbone Bridge. Um, so that's a really cool project to go check out right now. Um, we're closer to the dam on this side, uh, the highway is gonna be. Probably about 2 miles that way to the. East and uh yeah, other than that, uh, downtown is probably about, you know, you wanna drive there, I would probably like. So, uh, if you guys wanted to, I'd probably like Uber, uh, it's not very like walkable to get to 6th Street, which is like probably about another mile and a half or so. Um, well, maybe not 1.5 miles, but about 1 mile or whatever I would. You know, if you wanted to, you could walk it, but. I would probably You dropped off there or something like that if I wanted to go downtown or. To 6th Street on the east side as well. Um, anyways, uh, I'm not really sure too much of like a. This area, if there's like any. Any shady spots or anything like that. I think, uh, this looks like a very peaceful neighborhood. It looks like there's uh not too much going on. It's not a lot of foot traffic through here. So, um, just a real chill vibe if you guys need that. If you're looking here, I'd say around this area. Man, I wonder if that, that house over there is a rental because it looks really cool. It'll be fun to stay in.
