Austin Neighborhood Vibe. Traffic and Commerce: Exploring the Vibe Near Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are on Riverside in Pleasant Valley, uh, just showing you guys the area over here. We're actually right in front of the HEB right now and, uh, yeah, just, uh, showing you guys what's going on over here. Uh, we are in peak traffic hours right now, so there's a lot of cars, everything like that, um, and, uh, yeah, just, uh, judging by the area, it's a. It's a little, uh, weird to navigate, I think over here, uh, there's a lot of, uh, fast food kind of restaurants over here. Like I said, you got HEB right behind us. You got a Burger King, uh, Wingstop, McDonald's, and then you got all these apartments up here. There's an O'Reilly's, uh, CVS P pharmacy, and, uh, a couple other things over here. Um, one of the things I noticed I was like driving around just like trying to find areas, there's a lot of, uh, There's a lot of homeless people around here in this area, uh, kind of all these bus shelters and over here it's really actually like 20-30 people just kind of hanging out, um, and some of those people are. A little bit of a local. I don't know. Local, uh, kind of a hub spot. So, understandable, but uh, yeah, uh, there are. There's a, there's a lot of shops and things like that along the road. So, uh, but I personally, I don't know, it's a little bit far out of the way. But um, yeah, let's see what's going on. So, um. I was gonna do a walk down here, but yeah, it's kind of. No Not too much to show you guys as far as uh You know, Shops or stores or anything like that, we'd just like to walk around. But AEV is pretty busy, see what's going on here. You guys kinda know, like, if you're trying to go downtown and get down there quickly, uh, right now, it's probably gonna be like a thirty-minute, uh, drive into downtown. Which, um, you know, if you want to be close to the action, a little bit out of your way, but It's all good. So, um. Anyways, we're gonna go back over to the corner here, uh, just talk to you guys a little bit more and talk a little bit more about the area, but if you wanna stay near Ladybirdd Lake Boardwalk in South Pleasant Valley, Austin, Texas, this is what it feels like right now, um, and if you want your own rental check, be sure to go to true vibe.me and, uh. Um, this is, uh, a couple of shopping centers over here. Um, it's a Goodwill, Planet Fitness, got a membership over there. Get your routine going. gas stations. Couple down the block, everything like that. So it's kind of just like a, like a main little central hub down here. And, uh, yeah, a good mixture of people. You know, all these, uh, parking lots, they do have plenty of parking. So if you need to, you know, do that, do that, but no street parking. And, uh, It's kind of one of those things, it's not very walkable, uh, as far as like this area goes, but yeah, um, if you're booking here, I'll probably stay, you know, up, up here, we got like more houses and Apartment complexes, things like that, so I'll probably staying closer this way. But like I said, um, on the area 5, I'll probably give it like. 4 out of 10, um, as far as, you know, best places to stay in. Which I will try to, try to avoid. Um, I mean, they're not people bothering me. It's just, uh, you know, he's got the little encampments and stuff like that, people doing drugs. So if you got your kids and stuff like that, it's just kind of not the most, uh, appealing of areas, you know, a little bit of an eyesore.
