East Austin Vibes. Exploring East Austin: How Walkable and Appealing is the Neighborhood Near Willow Street?

What’s going on everyone this Joshua and we are live on truvibe right now and we're shooting a video. There's like dogs galore out here. Got one barking at me over here, one barking at me over here, but we are enjoying the vibes. It's like a very cool, quiet little neighborhood. Um, it's probably only allowed because the dogs are barking at me, but, um, it's pretty quiet, pretty chill, um, lots of nice houses. Got some older houses, but, um. Yeah, Literally one block away from Cesar Chavez, we're just gonna walk down here so we can let the dogs calm down and feel like they did their job, but. Uh, yeah, no, this is um. This is all the saus, so. We got a lot of older homes here. It's more like people that have been living here for a long time, so you're gonna really be close to a lot of the locals. Um, OK, yeah, we were doing a, a video before. High Noon is the, uh, name of the park over here. They do like live, uh, music and things like that. Then we got Jelos. It's gonna be right here on the right. And uh yeah, it's a lot of cool artwork over here as far as like the, uh, you know, graffiti, stuff like that. So if you're into that, you know, come down, take some photos, check out some of these murals over here on the east side. They've got a lot of great ones. Um, and yeah, we're pretty close to, you know, some of these bars and food and things like that. You can just literally walk from the street, from Willow and be there and about. Well, we've only been walking for about a minute, so yeah, we got a tattoo shop over here, Dark Horse, and uh, we got food trucks over here to the left and food trucks to the right, I believe. I think there's a couple more. Um, there's gonna be a lot more food down this way. Like I said, the barbecue is in this area. It's gonna be down to the garlic. Uh, yeah, Cesar Chavez, one of the main roads out here, so you're gonna be close to some action. It's, it's not like one of those main, like you're gonna have a lot of foot traffic day or night, um, but it's still like good to go and find some of these like, um, real, like really good food and Restaurants that have been here for a minute. There's um. You know, Probably about 5 minutes. Uh, well, I'd say about a 15-minute walk to, uh, 6th Street. Um, but yeah, this is, this is kind of like if you wanna just go for a stroll and discover some new things and, um, that aren't too, uh, too busy or full with a lot of people.
