South 1st Vibe. Exploring Austin's South 1st Street: Urban Charm and Local Highlights

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are outside of the Elizabeth Street Cafe on Elizabeth and South First. And we're just gonna take a walk through the neighborhood just a little bit, show you guys this, uh, rental check, and Give you guys the, the true vibe experience. So, um, I did get to go into the cafe. It's a really nice little cafe. Um, but yeah, uh. It seems like a good spot. I feel like Vietnamese food, but they also have coffee and tea and all that kind of stuff. I got myself a Vietnamese coffee. Uh, iced as well. Nice weather. Duck is kept. But yeah, uh, this seems like a. Kinda, it's kind of like the beginning of South first where you start getting into the, there's a lot more shops and everything like that kind of further up. But yeah, you see, we've got a couple of shops over here and looks like some uh possible like apartments or whatever in the area and got a nice little boot shop here, get some custom boots, uh. But yeah, uh. South First has got a lot of um cool stuff. I love South First because they have my uh My favorite nursery is on the street a little bit further up, uh, it's called the Great Outdoors. Um, we got tropicals and cactuses and all that kind of stuff, so it's really cool, um. And, yeah, there's just a lot of good food over here. Um, we're a bit north from the, uh, I'm sorry. Yeah, we're a little bit south, further south of uh some of like the the shops and things like, uh, uh, bars and, and restaurants and things like that. We have Egos, a karaoke spot and A couple other things, but. Yeah, I'm gonna walk back here, uh, talk about the area a little bit more and just, uh, So you guys, uh, Show you guys what's going on. It's just society, we have breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, cocktails and coffee. Looks pretty cool. Yeah, it looks pretty busy out here. It look like they have outdoor seating as well, so it's cool. So if we got a food truck over here. Gordos. Um, but yeah. Buses going by. So you know you're on the bus line. But yeah, this is a pretty nice area. We checked out the houses. We checked out the side street down here. I look down there. Let's see. Once you get off the main road, it's pretty quiet. It's um. It's a pretty quiet little neighborhood. So, yeah, um, if you want to stay near Elizabeth Street Cafe. In uh South first. Then, uh, this is what it feels like right now. We're, so we're on South First right now, which uh can have some good food, good coffee, uh, good, you know. Bars and things like that, but, uh, probably, uh, you know, we're not very far away from South Congress. It's a block, you know, it's not a block, but, um, it's about a 4-minute drive from South Congress, so it's kind of like the best strip, um, but this is, um, you know, still a good area if you walk, uh, or drive south of here, you know, you can get run into more food and bars along the way. Um, and it's not like a lot of parking all in itself first, but a lot of these businesses do have parking lots and things like that. So, you see, you got some, some parking here, and then when you duck off into the side streets, uh, you can actually find more parking over that way. So, yeah, um. Anyways, uh, yeah, and then, yeah, you know, you can take the scooters, uh, ride the bus, whatever, these are, you know, uh, still scooter zones, so, um, yeah, but, uh, if you were booking around here, definitely stay a little bit, uh, west of here, um, kind of into the neighborhood.
