Austin Urban Review. Exploring the Urban Streetscape Near 600 Onion Street in Austin: A Real-Time Perspective

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are looking at a location near 600 Onion Street. This is actually 601 Onion Street right now, so it doesn't look very rentable. Um, and then we've got another house over here, um. That we're looking at, uh, I know somebody, this is a house somebody lives in. We've met the owner before. At one point, uh, this is Mother's, uh, I'm sorry, this is, uh, not Mother's room, this is Seven Spirits. Uh, it's another bar, but yeah, just, um, there's not actually a lot of locations around here to rent as far as like houses go. Um, but this is, this is still the area over here. Um, like I said, you got, um, apartment complexes and then we got more business offices up here on the right, and, uh, yeah, this is just kind of more like a, a little offshoot of the bar. See that's the, the patio for Hotel Vegas and, uh. Then we got this uh bar uh next door called the Revelry, and uh they do like lots, lots of live bands and music and stuff like that, um, as well. They're really cool, so, um. And they do a really good job booking it. I think I've, I've not walked past her and hurt like a bad band or anything like that. So it's really cool to, uh. Little spot the revelry is, um, but anyways, uh. See, uh, like I said, it's Sunday morning, so it's not a lot of people out right now, but, um, it should be a good, you know, good opportunity for some street parking. Uh, they do charge, uh, for parking on Sundays now, so that's the only bummer I would say. Um, but yeah, uh. You know, insomnia cookies, it's a great, uh, great idea. Anytime you got cookies and ice cream, and, uh. Yeah, then we've got uh food trucks and whatnot, uh, that'll be down here on the right. I think it's just, well, it's just one food truck, uh, and then a little taco stand, but Uh, other than that, yeah, it's a, it's a pretty cool little quiet spot. Um, this, uh, little spot just opened up, it's called Fish Shop. Uh, they look like they've got some good, uh, good things. Uh, they're pretty new, uh, Restaurant, but um, I've heard good things about the food and uh. You know, but because they're a little newer, I think they could. Uh, work on the service a little bit more, but. Um, I was walking by one day and I saw this fish sandwich that looked really good. Like uh so. I will be giving them a try at one point, but other than that, yeah, man, it's a, it's a pretty quiet morning, so. We're gonna wrap that up.
