Austin Neighborhood Vibe. Exploring West Lynn and West 10th: A Homely Oasis Near Downtown Austin

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are on West Lynn and 10th Street and just uh showing you guys a little bit of the neighborhood over here. Uh Checking out the properties that we got on deck and uh. Let's see here. Yeah, uh, we're gonna walk over here to Easton, show you guys the side street real quick, um. Look around. So yeah, it's pretty quiet over here right now. Uh, there is a. This little street back on West Lynn, it's got some more like shops and whatnot. Um, but it looks pretty quiet over here. Looks like a good little spot to come by and Visit And We're just soaking in the sights. some cool yards going on. Looks like we got some. Pretty, uh. I say older houses over here, but some of them are pretty updated. It's just that old style homes. The remodels on this, the houses that were here before. A couple of them. Could use a little work, but. Yeah, um, so we're gonna walk back over to, uh, The corner over here on West 10th and West Lynn, but um. Yeah, we're not too far away from downtown, um. We're on 10th, and if you go. East of here, you'll hit uh South Lamar, there's a Whole Foods, uh. There's uh Waterloo Records. One of the uh It's a cool record shop. They actually just uh changed to Waterloo. Uh, location to a newer location. So I would definitely go scope that out. It's really cool. Um, they've got a, uh, record printing machine so they can, uh, print gold records. It's really cool. Um, and then. Let's see what else is there. Uh, 24 Diner. It's a great spot, uh. Um, we got breakfast there. They're not 24 hours all the week, but on the weekends they are. So, um. Good little place to check out. Um, and then right here. Oh, we've got Galaxy Cafe as well, um, a couple, there's a coffee shop down the way, I think it's HQ, oh no, Cafe Medici over here on the right hand side. Um, we got breakfast tacos, the gym. And uh this place Hollow Bs, so, anyways, uh. If you want to stay in this area, this is what it looks like right now, near West 10th and West Lynn. Once again, this is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are. On West Lynn and 10th St In Austin, Texas, and uh. Yeah, we're just, uh, chilling right now and talk about the area a little bit. Yeah, we got an elementary school over here, uh, on the corner, uh, and, uh. Just a couple of shops in the area that we showed you guys. Uh, one of the things, I guess like the closest strip for food and bars is gonna be, uh, West 6th, Which You know, uh, we just. We just had that, that, uh, shooting over the weekend, um, right in that bar district. Um, it's very sad and condolences go out to all those people that were over there at that time dealing with that, um, and, uh, their families, you know, but, uh, you know, generally it's, you know, it's, it's a place where people can go and have fun and enjoy their night. I've never had a bad time there. Um, but, uh, You know, that's, that's the reality that we are in today. So it's, you know, every, everything is uh. Everything is, uh, you know, a day by day situation, uh, no matter where you are, uh, like, you know, this is typically a really good neighborhood. You hear it, it's quiet over here. It's a lot of, you know, She wants to go in that area and, and tourists and people just traveling just, uh, you know, whatever and then, you know, you got all these people that work over there in the service industry, uh, people I've known over the years that, you know, um. We're very close to that situation, but Oh. It's not to say, hey, like. You know, that, like I said, any, any, anywhere you will go. Uh, anything could happen. So, you know, I just want people to know that like Austin is a beautiful, quiet place for the most part, and, you know, a lot of people, uh, you know, get along and coexist together and there's no problems. So, um, anyways, uh, It's, I still put that as the best spot to go on this side of town. It's the closest spot, um, for nightlife. Um, there's a lot of bars and restaurants, uh, Mayfair and, uh, It's a really cool looking club. They've got like 3 floors and like rooftop and stuff, so it's a good thing, uh, to go on Fridays. They do like a bar, like a, they do a Like, uh, records where they play a whole record out with, um, and they just pick them and curate them or whatever. So it's always pretty cool. And then Uh, Yeah, we got a couple other, couple other, uh, like great spots in that area, uh, restaurants, um. So I would definitely, you know, if you get a chance to check it out, just do so, um. And uh yeah. Just, uh, you know, be cautious, but also, you know, take. Take the time to uh. You know, Check it out and and come to Austin if this is what you plan to do. Anyways, uh, we're gonna hop in the next video here, um, see there's plenty of parking in the area, but yeah, we're gonna hop in the next video, get you guys, uh, set up and show you guys a little bit more of the neighborhood.
