East Side Austin Vibes. Exploring Austin's East 6th Street: A Vibrant Blend of Culture and Community

All right, what's going on everyone? This is Joshua with True Vibe, and we are down here on 6 and Chicon and we're just showing you guys more of the East Side neighborhood today. Uh, we got. If you are thinking about doing a, uh, rental or Airbnb over in this area, um, it's a great spot to come check out. And we're gonna just take a walk down here, show you one of the side streets, and then, uh, we'll come back and give you guys more of an overview of the area. But yeah, um, so as you can see, uh, There's a couple of restaurants, bars, uh, this is, you know, 6th Street right on the east side, and I've shown people before, but. Can't overstate it enough. East Side is my favorite side of town, so if you guys like, uh, wanna be in an area where people are usually pretty chill and good vibes, great networking, good food, uh, lots of shops, you know, you can get smoothies and Coffee and You know, Go to the bar, meet friends, make friends. Um, but yeah, this is, uh, this is the side of town to be on, and there's a lot of, uh, more like a tech company size of town, and, uh, We got Cloudflare over here, there's a couple of coding spots over here on the left or on the right side, sorry. But yeah, it's the vibe of the area. So, you look down here, this is uh gonna be 5th Street. Uh, let's see, it's just, uh, there's gonna be more apartments on this way. Um, there's a bar, Yellow Jacket down there, and then, Like I said, over here there's more apartments and everything like that, so. Yeah, it's just a cool little vibe and then some apartments above some businesses. Um, So you got Code Studios, Swish Dental. Yeah, so this side of town is more uh. So, once you get into this way, uh, the direction we're walking right now should be south. Um, let's see, there's more, uh, More quiet that takes you down to Cesar Chavez. Um, but yeah, it's like a really quiet area, um. During the daytime, usually so. Um If you're looking to book a rental in this area, you want to stay near East 6th Street in Chicon. You guys are full of East 6th Street. See we're standing here in front of Lefty's across the way from Via 313. So get your, uh, Detroit style pizza going. Yeah, like I told you, there's a lot of restaurants and bars and, shops in the area. This is East 6th Street, so, we’ve got lots of apartments down here, lots of businesses, and, uh, daytime, nighttime, it's a good, it's a good little, uh. Area to hang out in and check out. So, let's see…I guess some of the best. I don't know. I guess this, this is, this is the best street. All roads lead to 6th Street in Austin. So, um, I think it's a good spot, especially if you want to be close by to action and everything like that. Uh, but if you want quiet, you know, this is probably not gonna be the, the street for you. Although I'll say like during the daytime or like whatever, if you keep going, you know, further down, uh, 6th Street, you'll get, it gets a little bit quieter down there. The train does run, um. But yeah, other than that, it's, this is, this is, you know, the heart and soul of Austin and uh. Yeah, just good vibes all the way around, um, there's. You know, like I said, it's, it is the busiest side of town, so if you're not wanting, uh, you know, a lot of noise or anything like that or see a lot of You probably don't want to book over here, but, uh. Let's see, yeah, uh, other than that, yeah, great street parking. There's parking garages, there's parking lots, uh, everywhere, so lots of options, uh, and yeah, other, other than that, like I said, this is my favorite side of town, so come check it out, um, but if you're booking here, uh. I would stay around this area, um, and probably not more like, uh, towards the west side, it's a lot more traffic and everything.
