Austin Street Vibe. Exploring the Quiet Charm of Austin's West Lynn and West 6th Streets

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are downtown Austin on West 6th and West Lynn Street, and we're just showing you guys a view of the neighborhood. Uh, we're gonna walk this way and, uh, just, uh, see what we got going on here. Uh, looks really cool. Looks like we've got some. Some nice older homes, uh, apartment complexes over here, up there. And uh Yeah, uh, it looks like probably some businesses that have been, uh, like some homes that were repurposed to be businesses, but, um, Very, um, It seems like a very quiet neighborhood, but also like looks like there's a, you know, a little bit of traffic. This is 66th Street still, so, uh, yeah, we're just checking it out. I'm gonna go down this side street here, show you guys what it looks like. Yeah, this is where I would expect like a, the dentists, the dentist or the optometrist to be. Um, but yeah, it looks like there's um Looks like there's some pretty cool little spots over here to come check out as far as like um. Houses and see that. Street parking a little bit. The vibes coming. Yeah, maybe some restaurants and shops and everything that way. Uh, but yeah, we're, uh, We're gonna come back over here, tell you guys what's kind of like in the area, and then we'll go from there. Let's see, we got Studio West here. Supply. Yeah, this looks like a very strong like a business neighborhood or like, you know, you got your offices. This is a wallpaper textiles. So. And uh. Yeah, it's like a real estate business or something, um. But yeah, pop back in. Let's go, we're gonna look and see where the closest food spots are and uh things to do in the area, and then we'll get back to you guys, all right? All right, so once again, uh, this is Joshua with TruVibe, and yeah, we're still here on West Lynn in 6, West 6th. And, uh, yeah, so I looked on the map. It seems like there's a lot of salons in the area. So if you need to get your hair done, this is a good little location to come do that. Um, but, uh, looking at the map, uh, it seems that most everything is gonna be more back towards the east side, uh, which you're gonna get to by just going straight up this road here. Uh, Westland, take a right and then, you know, go back down 7th and uh we'll run into more shops and, uh, restaurants, things like that. Uh, we've got, uh, Whole Foods here on 6 uh 6th in South Lamar, so we're about 5 minutes, uh, drive or so. Probably about a 1015, 20 minute walk, something like that, depending on how fast you are, but, um, then once you go past that, you're on, on West 6th where there's gonna be all the bars and all that stuff like that, nightlife. Um, but getting around, um, yeah, you can, uh, you know, catch a scooter, bike ride, walk, got the bus here, number 4 route going down the street. Uh, yeah, um, looks like, uh, Um. I would say we're probably looking to uh stay in this area so we got some tight corners over here, but, uh, if you're looking to stay in this area, I'll probably say, you know, somewhere up this hill looks like there might be some good land. Little places to stay up there, um, and, um, yeah. Um, you know, yeah, so. What I can see, it looks pretty cool.
