Austin Urban Walk. Exploring Austin's Third and Nueces: Urban Calm Amidst City Landmarks

All right, what's going on y'all? This is Joshua with TruVibe, and we are on the corner of 3rd and Nueces and just checking out the area. Uh, we've got a couple of restaurants over here. There's meat and bread and Hobo's. Uh, we've got a coffee shop and a juice land. And Hestia, uh, so it's like another restaurant as well, um. And we're right by the library and the old, uh, well the Austin Power Station, um, and basically about two blocks away from, um. Cesar Chavez, where you can go across and then you can be down by Lady Bird Lake. So, uh, pretty chill little area. Uh, we are downtown, so it's a little, it's not, uh, like a busy side of downtown, but, um, there are a lot of apartments and houses, uh, the Google around the corner, um. And some government buildings as well, but other than that, um, it's pretty chill, so. Um, we are going to, uh, walk down here to this corner. We got remedies, another little restaurant as well, so. Quite a few restaurants in this cul-de-sac over here. Going down to the oasis. See what we got down here, see what it looks like. And then we'll talk about the area a little bit more. Um. So, Yeah, it's pretty chill right now. Traffic hasn't started to pick up too much over here, but. And uh I see Flower Child down there um right behind us is Remedy like they got burger bar, uh happy hour every day from 4 to 6, so cool little spot if you're staying in the area, come down, get a happy hour burger. Um, there is a Royal Blue grocery store down this way, a couple other, uh, looks like an eye care stop, um, and that takes you towards the apartments also, uh. If we go down, uh, across this bridge here and just keep going straight for about 6 or 7 minutes, we went to like another shopping mall. We've got like a Trader Joe's and stuff like that in the area, so, um, it's pretty chill, um, and I think it was about a 7 minute walk to Whole Foods as well, so it's got a lot of things in the area, restaurants, things like that, so, um, yeah. Uh, anyways. Parking downtown looks like we got some street parking over here. Also got some garages. You're staying at one of the hotels there. Uh, I don't have, uh Valet parking for some of you guys as well. So we got lots of options. There's a little dance school over here. Yeah, so that sums it up for us over here.
