Austin Rental Zone. Exploring Austin's Desirable Zilker Neighborhood: Walkability, Traffic, and Rental Insights

All right, good afternoon from, uh, right here in the Zilker neighborhood, right off of Barton Springs, um. This is on. Uh, Kinney Road and Barton Springs, which you can see right there, um. There's some condos right here in this area, and then right up the street here is, um, kind of the start of the Zucker neighborhood, which is where, um, you know, there's a lot of, um, newer homes and, um, some older, you know, more expensive homes as well. I think there's a lot of Airbnbs and, uh, short-term rentals in this area. Um, This is kind of the start of the neighborhood, like I said, with the street right there, um. And, uh, it's very plain. I mean, this is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Austin. Um, the values have kind of just skyrocketed here, um, but like it is busy. Um, as you can see, there's a good amount of traffic right here on Barton Springs. Obviously, the neighborhood up here is a bit quieter, um, but, um, there are a good amount of cars and traffic in this area, and, um, You will notice that, um, as you enter, but as you get further into the neighborhood, it's, you know, less apparent. Um, walkability is great though. Um, Barton Springs, like I said, is right here, bars, restaurants, um, All right there. And for ACL Fest, which is just, um, right down the street to the left over here on Barton Springs, you'll get to uh Zoker Park, which is where ACL is. So I think this neighborhood is probably very popular for um people staying for the festival. Um, street parking is a little bit, uh, hard to come by. Um, some of it's paid, some, you know, there's no parking. Allowed. So, um, definitely, um, make sure if you have an Airbnb or something like that in this area, that there's, um, parking, you know, at the house, um, so that, uh, you could, um, you know, park your rental car or whatever it may be. I definitely would stay in this area, like I said, if the price is right, it's very desirable. It's a great location, as you can see downtown right there. Lots of stuff to do in this area.
