East Austin Streets. East Austin Walkability and Traffic Insight Near Rozco's Comedy Club

All right, y'all, uh, this is Joshua again with Truvibe to give you guys more of a view on this side. So now we're on 7th and Chicon. We're standing outside of Rozco’s Comedy Club. If you know Austin, you know we love our comedy. Uh, but yeah, just give you guys a view of the street. Uh, 7th is, uh, 4 lane road, so it's a little bit more traffic, uh. But uh there's a couple of shops, there's a couple of businesses. Um, we go more in towards this side of town, it's gonna be more of the residential side. Uh, businesses, you got a pawn shop, uh, we got, uh, barbershops, and, uh, there's a little meat market over there. It's actually like Really high-end, uh, meat market, but, uh, really good stuff. Uh, like, like I said, back over here on the right, there's lots more apartments and everything like that. And, uh, we're right across the way from Huston Tillotson and, uh, it's just, uh. College over here. Yeah, it's a good vibe. So, um, yeah, you can walk the street, see if we're walking. Uh, there's bus routes going down this way, and, uh, it's kind of like a, it's like the, The main thoroughfare for uh. Getting, getting to 6th Street, taking, uh, you know, the highway, I-35 is gonna be down this way, um, towards the west. And then, uh, you got the, uh, Because it's the 30, don't quote me. But yeah, there's more highway, there's another highway down that way. Um, so yeah, it's a lot, um. A lot more traffic going to be this way that's going towards the airport. One of the main roads you'll ride in when you get on, get down here. So, anyways, uh, not too much street parking. I see it's just a four-lane road, so we're just, you know, driving by. But if you have a rental in the area, usually they're gonna have more, you know, like a parking lot or like a garage or something like that, uh, but you see like these old style, used to be homes, a lot of homes on the street, but now it's more just, uh, You know, little shops, uh, they say this is West China Tea, and they've got a nasha, which is like an Indian food spot down that way on the right hand side, and uh there's a cava bar as well. So yeah, it's just like basically converted homes that are like homes that were converted into like businesses or shops or whatever. There's still a couple of homes for them, but yeah.
