Hey y'all, it's Monday morning, June 2nd, 8:09 a.m. This is Gary and I'm in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Uh, this is the inner section of Speedway and 43rd. And I'm outside. Of forest light. Which is a neighborhood. Coffee shop Here in Hyde Park. Uh, it's been here, I guess, a year or two. It's actually built. In the old neighborhood, uh, post office, uh, it's a combination coffee shop and bookshop. Uh, coffee shop is open from 7 a.m. Um, through a hatch and then the bookshop opens a couple of hours later at 9 a.m. If you can see we've got a A few folks out here, they brought their dogs with them as well. How do I know this. There's a fresh water bowl over here. For our four-legged friends. Yeah, great way to start the day. Hey y'all, it's Monday morning, June 2nd, 8:20 a.m. This is Gary. I'm in the Hyde Park neighborhood at the intersection of Speedway and 43rd. And I'm outside of the Bureau de Poste. Bureau de Poste is an artisan grocery store, uh, with a bar and an espresso station and a beautiful backyard patio. Great place to ease into the day. This building used to be the neighborhood post office. Hence the name Bureau de Poste. Uh, neighbors, Tiny Grocers, and uh First Light, which is a bookstore and coffee shop. You can see a little line of folks here gathering at the coffee shop just at the north end of this little plaza now. Uh, the bookstore is open from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m. The coffee shop opens at 7. They serve through a little hatch in the window for the first couple of hours, very kid friendly, dog friendly neighborhood. Here we are, this is the view of Speedway now, looking south in the general direction of the University of Texas.
