Dog-Friendly Triangle. Exploring North Austin's Dog-Friendly Spaces: A Visit to the Triangle

Exploring North Austin's Dog-Friendly Spaces: A Visit to the Triangle

Hey everyone, Monday evening, 5:35 p.m. It's uh July 21st. This is Gary for City Vibe. I'm over at the Triangle. This has to be one of the most uh pup friendly places in North Austin. A lot of dogs live here and a lot of their owners actually put little notices on the gates, so. Uh, you can welcome them. Looks like Gunner lives here and Gunner lives right across from, uh, the pocket park here and at the Triangle, which is very dog friendly. You've got the on leash area, as you can see this good boy here on leash. And then if you want some off leash time, uh, there's this area here with a retaining fence around it, uh, kind of a strange surface though, it's like a really heavy uh mulch, I guess, is the surface there. Uh looks like we've only got one dog in having a training session by the look of things with his owner, so I want to interrupt him. Uh, and the triangle is a mixed-use development. It's set, uh, between Guadalupe and Lamar just north of 45th Street. And uh. Let's see what we got up here. Yeah, plenty of uh waste stations out here as well. Scooby Doo, very on brand. And uh yeah, nice little stage area, condos restaurants, bars, and a little playscape for the kiddos as well. Hey y'all, Monday afternoon. This is Gary from City Vibe, bringing you your dog park vibe over at the Triangle here. I have to say, uh, this place has got the most waste stations. Uh, I've ever seen, I've never really noticed this before. Looks like they're sponsored by Chewy Vet Care who have a clinic here at the Triangle, so, uh, great marketing by Chewy! And each of these stations has kind of a fun little graphic on it. Uh, that one had a bloodhound. Uh, let's see which what we got here. I think this one looks like it's uh. A little, uh, this little French bulldog here, is it? “Hey dude, throw it in the bin.” Um, Yeah, so far anyway, I don't want to jinx myself, but so far clean up is really good, uh, cleanliness is really good in the park. I think most people are responsible owners out here. And this is the little stage here. In the corner of the pocket park. And let's just do one more, let's just see what this one is. Uh, this one is a little wiener dog, uh, “pick up what they're putting down.” So a little bit of a lull, uh, in the canine activity out here. Uh, but yeah, uh, I would definitely give it, uh, 4 paws down or 2 thumbs up. Uh, great park, great location, uh, very clean out here.
