Sunny Scenes from Triangle Park: Trees, Trails, and Tranquility in a Bustling Community Hub

Video Transcript
Hey everyone, it's Wednesday, June 18th, 10:50 a.m. And this is Gary bringing you A tour of the urban oasis, that is the park at the Triangle. Uh, the Triangle's a mixed-use development. Uh, it sits between Lamar and Guadalupe just north of Forty-fifth. There's an ornamental lake with a healthy population of turtles. Uh, and there's this pocket park here which features an enclosed dog run. Nice big grassy area and even a little performance stage up there on the inner section of 46 and triangle, um. The folks who use this park tend to be either the residents of the senior living facility here, or also the new uh state office state offices just across Guadalupe. You'll often see state workers coming out here, uh, in their lunch break. Uh, maybe eating lunch out on the grass or walking laps around the lake. It is a little bit of a sun trap at this time of day. There's not too much shade, although I noticed that the, the doggy area actually does get some shade from these trees. So that's your view from the Triangle Pocket Park on Wednesday lunchtime. Hey y'all, it's Thursday lunchtime, 11:57, June 18th. This is Gary. I'm over at the Triangle. This is the north end of the Triangle Park. There’s a little kids playscape behind me. I think these grassy areas are for, for bocce ball, um. Not sure how to pronounce that. I notice that the canine occupants of the condominiums here like to welcome guests. Looks like. Hello, um. Little fella. Let's see what we got here. Yeah, very dog friendly place. Hi, I'm Gunner. Gunner lives here, the Saint Bernard and Pyrenees mix. Well, Gunner's got it made because right outside of his back door, um, is the Dog park Underneath this little arch, you can see there's an enclosed area here. With like a heavy mulch surface inside so that you can run the dogs. Uh, it's a little bit warm at the moment, honestly, it's a bit of a sun trap as well, although the dog park does get some shade, but uh, yeah, that's your view from the Triangle Park on Wednesday lunchtime, June 18th.
