Barton Creek Farmers Market Bustles with Unique Vendors and Shoppers Under a Sunny Austin Sky
Hey everyone, it's Saturday morning, uh, June 14th, 10:31. This is Gary. I'm out at the Barton Creek Square Farmers' Market. It's a busy, busy day out here. And it always feels a little more boisterous than the downtown Republic Square Market. It's a larger market. You could spend 4 or 5 hours here and only see half of it. Traffic is heavier. It's a more varied collection of vendors as well. This particular booth just caught my eye. This is. Haute Dog. Which sells handcrafted doggie accessories made by my new friends here out in Canyon Lake, Texas, and they use artisan fabrics to make these exquisite leashes, uh, waste bags, everything for your designer pooch. Actually, and right on brand, it's just next to the ASPCA booth.
Hey everyone, it's Saturday, June 14th. Uh, it's Dad's Day weekend. Just reminded me I've got to pick up something for my old man, and I'm over at the, uh, Barton Creek Square Farmers' Market, just FYI the closest mall exit is the one by Dillard's. And walk across the parking lot and it brings you to this behemoth farmers' market and let's see what we got over here. Raw dairy, OK, raw cow's milk, raw goat's milk, a lot of protein here. Let's take a look and see what the price points are. Boy, something's caught this guy's attention, look, and this is, uh, let's take a look…. this is the Barley family farm out of Llano, Texas, and, uh, organic peaches from Stonewall, Texas as well. Good looking booth, really you could spend 4 or 5 hours out here and only scratch the surface. Let's take a look. We've got, uh, some interesting mushrooms as well going on here. Anyway, that's your view from the Barton Creek Square Farmers Market on a Saturday morning.
