Austin’s Oasis. Central Park in Austin Provides Peaceful Morning Escape

Om Shanti y’all, It's Friday morning, March 15th at 7:35 a.m. And this is Gary. I'm over at Central Park. Uh, not that Central Park. Uh, this is Central Park just north of downtown Austin. It sits between Guadalupe and Lamar, and it's just north of 38th. In fact, Central Market actually backs on to Central Park, which I think is probably where it takes its name. And it's a beautiful, serene spot here just to ease into the day, uh, I can my friend the turtle who's playing hard to get. He's down there and there's a bunch of his other buddies as well just poking their heads up underneath the bridge. It's an overcast muggy morning, so the vistas are not quite as exquisite as they would usually be. But still abBeautiful oasis just a stone's throw from UT and downtown.
