Hey, good morning y'all. It's Thursday morning, July 3rd, 7:38 a.m. This is Gary. I'm on the Ladybird Lake hike and bike trail. I'm right there in the shadow of the Google building, as you can see just on the south side of uh Cesar Chavez. Um, by this curiously decorated power pole, kind of has a Doctor Seuss vibe about it. Here’s a little footbridge That crosses over the creek that runs alongside Ladybird Lake. uh, overcast, humid start to the day. Uh, rain forecast around about the noon hour. Um, Traffic kind of light on the trail this morning. I'm wondering if tomorrow being a holiday, folks are Maybe engaged in other activities this July 4th weekend. Uh, certainly seeing more walkers than runners right now. Let's take a look. I think I've just seen a Couple of kayaks out there on the lake. Somebody Taking photographs on the little dock there. Couple of solitary runners along here, so Yeah, surprisingly quiet morning out on the town Lake hike and bike trail. Hey, it's Thursday morning, July 3rd. Yeah, surprisingly quiet given how cool this morning is. Uh, we do have some rain forecast around about the noon hour. Uh and of course we're going into a holiday weekend as well, so maybe folks have other plans. Uh, yeah, I've just seen a couple of kayakers out there on the water, and I think there might be a couple just fishing off the dock here as well. Yep, so that's your view from a very quiet overcast.
