Hey y'all, it's Friday, May 9th, 11:48 a.m. and this is Gary over at the University of Texas. I'm right by the Littlefield fountain. It's just south of the main university tower, and there's really only one thing on people's minds, and that's commencement! Commencement takes place tomorrow. that's Saturday. Uh, it's going to be over at the Darryl K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, uh, beginning 7 p.m. Uh, friends and family can also congregate on the South Mall and the Main Mall, uh, beginning 6:30 p.m. and that's on a first come, first served basis. Hey y'all, it's Gary over at UT Friday lunchtime, and the stage is set, literally and figuratively. Uh, commencement is just 24 hours away, and the excitement over here is palpable. It's a great time to be out on campus. Uh, this is the view looking south, down towards Littlefield fountain where we've seen people popping champagne corks in the fountain! Uh, tomorrow, the South Mall and the Main mall will be open from 6:30 p.m. on a first come, first served basis for friends and family of new grads.
