Pride Pop-Up Event. Bed Head Pop-Up Adds Flair to Austin Pride at Republic Square Park

Everyone, Gary from City vibe here from downtown at the inner section of 4th and Guadalupe and this structure behind me is actually a pop-up salon sponsored by uh Bed Head Hair Products, and it's part of the uh Austin Pride event which takes place today, Saturday, August 23rd. It's just 9 a.m. now, so the guys are just putting the finishing touches, uh, to this. Incredible construction here and participants in Pride will be able to have a fresh do and then their image will be projected on that black sphere which is an LED ball which will be hoisted high up into the rigging there, uh, in an “only in Austin juxtaposition” It is sitting right next to the regular, uh, Saturday morning farmers' market, uh, which is continuing. Uh, without any disruption whatsoever, in fact, I think it adds a little je ne sais quoi to the proceedings down here!
