July 4th Setup. Independence Day Preparations Continue Despite Overcast Skies at Auditorium Shores

Hey, good morning y'all. It's uh Friday, July 4th, 7:41 a.m. and this is Gary checking in from Auditorium Shores. On a very overcast, drizzly Independence Day morning, just taking a look at the set up here for the July 4th event that's gonna be taking place this evening. As you can see, not exactly optimal conditions really to set up. Uh, looks like the guys have been working in inclement weather for quite a few hours now, um, everything looks to be in place. I even noticed that there's some beautiful architectural lighting set up in the trees, um, just over there in the distance you can see that the Long center is also uh lit up red, white and blue this morning. Pretty minimal disruption to folks out on the trail as well. Uh, you can see where I am. I'm a mile marker 0 right in the shadow here of the Google building and yeah, still got runners out on the trail. It's not impeding access at all. Alright, folks, and that's your view now.
