Empty Waters. Scorching Heat Leaves Lady Bird Lake Empty of Kayakers and Paddleboarders

I'm at the Ladybird Lake Rowing Club. There are no powerboards or anything. It's 5 o'clock, the hardest, hottest time of the day, so not many people out. it's super hot, almost 100 degrees heat index. Mr. G reporting for City Vibe. It's 5 o'clock in the afternoon, Wednesday, June 18th, 5:34. Normally this is full of paddle boarders, but I guess because of the hot temperatures, I haven't seen a single one out here today. Eerie in Austin, it is 100 degrees, can't blame anybody for not wanting to go in the water right now. Better time is in the early morning or evening hours.
