UT Campus Bustles as Students Depart for Spring Break

Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from uh UT campus, um, on the West Mall. And, uh, that's just adjacent to uh Guadalupe Street at 23rd. It's Friday afternoon, uh, 3:28, and it is March 14th. So happy Pi Day. Uh, it's also the last day of classes before spring break. Uh, traffic, foot traffic is light as you can see, and in fact traffic on the drag for this time on a Friday is also quite light. Um, so it might be that the exodus for spring break has started. I've already seen quite a few folks with the rolling luggage out here. Uh, so that might be a clue as to what's going on. So let's take a look behind me. Here's the main intersection across the Drag, uh, looking over to the co op. Hey y'all, it's Gary. I'm on the West Mall at UT campus, and, uh, just taking a stroll out onto the, the drag here, Guadalupe 23rd, making sure I don't get run over by any scooters, as you can see, uh, students just passed me with a rolling luggage. They're heading off to the bus, to the bus station for spring break. The drag is moving kind of nicely, uh, to the north. Looking back down to the south, everything seems to be moving pretty well for 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. Take one last look across at the the co op. There you go. So that's your view from UT on Friday afternoon.
