TSA Delays. Post-SXSW Rush Causes TSA Wait Times to Soar at Austin Airport

Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. It's Saint Patrick's Day, uh, Monday morning, 11:10 a.m. And it is March 17th. It's the day after South by Southwest. And the terminal is extremely busy. Just looking at the TSA lines here, um, the, the sheep pens are pretty much all full and in fact the TSA line now um is wrapping around onto the main concourse. It's hard to estimate, but just watching people progress through the line, I'm thinking 30 or 40 minutes probably to get through the TSA line at this point. Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from Austin Bergstrom International Airport Monday morning Saint Patrick's Day, and uh behind me here we have the Clear line, um, estimate 30 or 40 people actually online for Clear, all the terminals except one are operating, um. So the line is progressing quite quickly, uh, maybe 20 minutes to get through the Clear line this beautiful Saint Patrick's morning and Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
