Crowds Gather at Austin's Soo Maker's Market for Vintage Finds and Cowboy Boots
Hey everyone, Saturday morning, August 2nd, 10:31 a.m. This is Gary, uh, with City Vibe and Willie Nelson. Uh, we're out on the corner of South Congress Avenue and Elizabeth. uh, Willie is staying put. I'm going to head over to the Soo Maker's Market. Great combination here of uh handmade items, uh, vintage shirts, and, uh, probably the best selection of vintage cowboy boots in the city. Now I'm a bigger guy, hard to fit. I wear a 12. There's always a good selection of those bigger sizes, and also I noticed some of the smaller sizes as well, uh, in the women's style. I notice there's some Roper boots here as well with the lower heel. Which is great, and I'm always drawn like a moth to a flame to this yellow topo chico umbrella. Uh, if there's anything I like, it's a cold topo chico on a hot August morning and the smell of vintage cowboy boots.
Hey everyone, Gary for City vibe. I'm at the SoCo Maker's Market here, South Congress Avenue and Elizabeth. Yeah, things just starting to pick up now. It's 10:34 on Saturday morning. And uh booths are just getting set up now. Some really legit uh vintage t-shirts here at Stitches vintage. I was just looking at the uh that Rush “moving pictures” uh shirt, uh, I think that might be coming home with me actually, folks. Yeah, great selection of denim out here as well. And uh, yeah, you can find us, uh, you find it right across the street from Guerros , uh, the intersection of Congress and Elizabeth, uh, use the Willie Nelson mural as your landmark.
