Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from uh South Congress Avenue. I'm at the intersection of uh South Congress and Elizabeth, and I'm right by Home Slice Pizza. And home slice opens up in about 10 minutes. So it's, uh, it's just deserted out here right now. It's Tuesday morning. It's 10:52 a.m., uh, March 25th, and boy, it's going to be a scorcher. Uh, we're gonna be dancing around 90 degrees today, I think. Uh, here's a view of South Congress Avenue looking north towards the beautiful Austin skyline. And you can see traffic is clear and moving freely all the way to South Congress Bridge, I think, the inner section of Riverside, um. Pedestrian traffic is pretty light still, as I say, home slice is not open for another 10 minutes. Um, we are just starting to put the patio furniture out for the day. So that's your view from the inner section of Elizabeth and South Congress, uh, Tuesday lunchtime, March 25th.
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from South Congress Avenue. It's Tuesday morning, 11:55 a.m. It's March 25th. I'm at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Elizabeth, and I'm right outside of Home Slice Pizza. Home Slice opens at 11 a.m., so in about 5 minutes' time you'll start to see these tables filling up, but for now it's quiet out here, just stepping out onto Congress. Showing you the view north here, Congress Avenue, up to the beautiful Austin skyline. Yeah, traffic is light still, as you can see, it's moving freely. Almost see as far down as the intersection with the Congress and Riverside. Everything seems to be moving just fine. So that's your view from Congress Avenue at the intersection of Elizabeth on a muggy March morning, Austin 78704
Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from South Congress Avenue. It's Tuesday lunchtime, 11 a.m. March 25th, just crossing Congress at the intersection of Elizabeth now, and I'm right outside of, uh, Guerros, and I just noticed something interesting and quite relevant regarding parking out here. It's, uh, it turns out that there is a 5 story covered parking garage in back of Guerros. It's accessible from uh an access road that runs off of Elizabeth here, um. It's going to be 90 degrees today, folks. Can you believe it for March. So that gives you uh some covered parking options in the shade, and you can actually get your parking validated for a couple of hours if you eat at Guerro's or for an hour and change if you eat at Hop Doddy. So there's a interesting parking option for you on South Congress Avenue. Uh, curbside parking is also available. That's your view from the intersection of Congress and Elizabeth on a muggy March morning.
