Airport Rush. Busy Morning at Austin Bergstrom: Travelers Flock to Arrivals

Thursday morning, March 27th, 10:05 a.m. Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. I'm on the lower level right now. This is the arrivals hall. As you can see the baggage carousels behind me and some very on theme, uh, guitars decorating the carousels welcome people to the live music capital of the world. Couple of flights obviously just come in. We've got folks coming down the elevators, and we've got friends, family, and, uh drivers there waiting to pick up guests at the bottom of the elevators as they head out into an overcast Thursday morning in Austin Texas. Folks picking up their suitcases heading out onto the street level. This is where your ground transport options are. You’ve got the airport shuttle buses, uh, airport parking shuttle buses on the left and over to the right hand side is where you'll catch the city bus. The capital Metro number 20 will take you to downtown Austin. So that's your view on the lower level concourse.
