Library Block Party. Family Fun Blooms at Central Library's Kids' Summer Block Party

Hey everyone, Saturday morning, uh, June 7th, it's 10:47 a.m. This is Gary. I'm downtown at the Central Library, and this is the kids' summer block party, which is taking place not only at the main library but also across Cesar Chavez at the Seaholm intake facility as well. There's a lot going on here. Let's take a look inside and see what we've got. The um. The mission really of this event is to encourage reading. And uh also to keep the learning momentum going over the summer months, and you can see here's the main reception area here. And this is the uh down downstairs event space as you can see it's absolutely teeming with various booths and tables, all encouraging reading and educational programs. Boy, it is busy in here.
