UT Campus Expansion: New Spaces and Offerings at the University Co-op

Hey everyone, it's, uh, Monday morning, July 28th, 11:30 a.m. This is Gary for City vibe. I'm out on the drag right outside the university co op. Uh, now over the summer, the co op has expanded, uh, into, uh, the adjacent property to the north. Uh, some of you might remember that this had been a foxtrot, the, uh, artisan artisan artisanal grocers. Who closed down abruptly a while ago. And let's take a look inside. This is actually my first time going in here since the remodel has been complete. So I'm excited to see what uh burnt orange. Wonderment lies within. OK, so yeah, previously, this is where the the store stopped. Uh, so this archway and everything beyond is new. And first thing I noticed actually is the uh obligatory longhorn here over in the corner, um. Well this is interesting. So this, this end window now, uh. I should I don't poke my eye out on that long one. So this end window actually looks out onto the the space of the Renaissance Market. Uh, so this is 23rd Street now, that's kind of cool. All right. Yeah, so. This is what uh returning students have got to look forward to. Uh, move in day is uh just next month, August 23rd, and of course for. New longhorns will be discovering this all for the very first time.
