Market Revival. Republic Square Farmers' Market Blossoms Post-Construction Completion

Republic Square Farmers' Market Blossoms Post-Construction Completion

Hey everyone, it's Saturday morning, 9:30 a.m. June 28th, a couple of updates from the. Republic Square Farmers' Market. I'm currently standing right in the intersection of 4th and San Antonio, and up until recently, this area was really defined by the dust, the noise, the disruption of the large construction project that's going on at this intersection, but finally we're on the home straight and we've now transitioned over to, uh, landscaping. So the road is resurfaced. It's just landscaping crews out here now, which I think is much more in keeping with the farmers' market vibe. What it's meant practically as well is more vendors are actually setting up now on 4th Street. Of course, the market still wraps around alongside Republic Square Park. Things are just getting underway here at 9:30, um. And the other update is that uh the uh regular hours for this market are from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Saturdays. However, the hotter months, July and August, they're gonna start closing at 12 noon. So today they're open till 1, but come July and August. Uh, get over here early, folks, because the farmers' market is only open from 9 a.m. till 12 noon.
