Downtown Farmers' Market Moves Back to 4th Street Amid Republic Tower Completion
Hey, good morning, everyone. It's Saturday, July 19th. It's 9:08 a.m. Uh, this is Gary for Cityvibe at the Downtown Farmers' Market, and it's moving week at the market, folks. Um, while the Republic Tower here was under construction, uh, the market had been setting up, uh, alongside Republic Square Park, uh, between the park and the cornhouse. Between 4th Street and 5th Street, but now with the tower is completed, the vendors are actually setting up on 4th Street proper. All of the regular faces are here and a few old friends have returned who I think took a break during the construction. Here’s a Casper, always has the best organic produce out here. And remember folks as well, uh, through SFC, through the Sustainable Food Center who operate the market, uh, you are able to double your bucks if you're a Snap or WIC recipient. Um, so you would just head on over to the yellow SFC tent over here and uh ladies will help you out. So if you're buying organic fruits and veggies and you're a recipient of Snap or WiC you can double your dollars out here at the Republic Square Farmers' Market, setting up on 4th Street in the shadow of the new Republic tower.
