Hey y'all, it's Saturday morning, May 10th, 9:45 a.m. This is Gary over at the Downtown Farmers Market. Uh, the market is next to Republic Square Park. It's between 4th and 5th. This is what greets you as you come in from the north end, uh, looking south, uh, the top end of the market is like a little food court here, uh, some seating areas, uh, hot beverages, there's some teas, coffee. A little bit of a wind picking up out here. It's still relatively quiet out here. It'll pick up in a little while. One of my favorites here, empanadas! And then the Best Damn Cookies in Austin.
Hey it's Gary at the Downtown Farmers' Market. I'm just taking a look at one of my favorite businesses, and that's uh Dough Mama, I've actually just been chatting with Stephanie, the owner. She's been in business for about a year. And let's take a look at what she's got today. We've got the. the scones, looks like we've got the blueberry scones, my favorite. I've never met a blueberry scone yet, that I don't like. A lot of sourdough over here. Artisan breads all looks great. Everything well stocked at the moment. Foot traffic is starting to pick up, as you can see. It's a beautiful morning to take a stroll through the downtown farmers' market.
