Quiet Morning at UT Austin: Minimal Traffic and Footfall
Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from the University of Texas West Mall on a chilly Sunday morning. It's Sunday, April 6, 9:33 a.m. I'm at the main crosswalk and it is quiet out here. I can give you almost an unobstructed view along the Drag here. Looking south, you can almost make out uh the Papa John's right down there at the intersection of MLK. And panning up to the north here you can see vehicle traffic, very light, minimal pedestrian traffic. That's the view um right up to the uh inner section there of 24th.
Hey y'all, so Gary checking in from UT just crossing over the main crosswalk here at Guadalupe and the West Mall. Ah, sun has just made its way through the clouds, which is nice. Taking a look north, uh, up the Drag, you can see, vehicle traffic is very light. This will start to tick up in a little while, particularly as services get underway at the Methodist Church, just right up there at the inner section of 24th. Looking south down towards downtown, you can see traffic really light, everything moving freely along the Drag.
