Morning Calm as Austin's MLK Boulevard Unfolds at UT Campus

Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's Tuesday morning, April 8th at 9:36 a.m. This is Gary checking in from the University of Texas. I'm on the very southern edge of campus, uh, right outside the Blanton Museum. That's alongside MLK. This is the view looking west up MLK. towards the Drag, and if I pan around, there's a breathtaking view of the State Capital along the new Capitol Mall, uh, with the Bob Bullock Museum just off there to the right. Hey y’all it's Tuesday morning. This is Gary at the Blanton Museum. We're on the south edge of the University of Texas, just coming up through the Faulkner gateway, uh, underneath these, uh Parasols, this art installation that shades this beautiful plaza. To the left here where those chairs are, there used to be a cafe until recently, but looking at the signage on the window, it's currently closed down for remodeling scheduled to reopen later in the year, um. So this area is beautifully quiet, very serene, even though the traffic along MLK continues behind me.
