Party on the Plaza. Campus Prepares for 'Party on the Plaza' with Over 300 Student Organizations

Everyone, Gary for City vibe here over on the 40 acres. I'm right on the Speedway Plaza. Yellow Brick Road, as it's affectionately known, uh, near the intersection of 21st with the Perry Castaneda library on the right, and then Gregory Gym just across the street. And the setup we're seeing here is for an event tomorrow called Party on the Plaza. Uh, although silly week is behind us, this is actually week two of classes now, uh, over on the 40 acres, clearly the party never ends. Uh, party on the Plaza really puts an exclamation point on the tabling activities that go on the first couple of weeks. Of each semester where various student organizations and resources introduce themselves to the freshman class. So tomorrow from 11 till 4 there's going to be over 300 organizations out here for party on the Plaza. Uh, the lead sponsor is actually UFCU, and I think one of the highlights, uh, is there is a competition to win. Uh, a $2500 scholarship through UFCU. So that's partly on the plaza tomorrow on the 40 acres on the Speedway mile, we're outside of Gregory GM.
