Zilker Serenity. Wide Open Spaces at Zilker Park: Perfect for a Peaceful Picnic or Energetic Run

Aloha, Mister G reporting for City Vibe. I'm at Ziler Park at the Great Lawn. You see Austin City skyline in the background, and there is hardly anybody out here. There are some people playing football. You see some dogs in the distance, but other than that, it's very quiet at 11:48 on a Monday here at the great lawn at Ziler Park. Do a lawn check for you. The grass is completely dry. Come out the Ziler if you want the whole lawn to yourself. I'm currently on the trail at Ziler Park. This is the Ziler Park Railroad. It slow over there. Uh, it's Monday, 11:50. Not too hot out today, probably about 80 degrees or less, and we'll go to this popular bridge spot here, very crowded on the weekends. Uh, a lot of people like to uh jump off the bridge here. The water seems to be pretty, uh, clean, a lot of people fishing. Enjoying it. So even though the park is not busy, there is still uh people on the bridge enjoying themselves. Yeah, you wanna jump, yeah. And he's about to jump, show the bridge. You don't wanna, uh, recommend this at home. And uh it's kind of gray area. Sometimes you can jump, sometimes you can't. And uh here he goes right here. Alright, whoa, that was a good one.
