Barton Springs Buzz. Barton Springs' Free Side Bustles with Activity Amid Austin's Summer Heat

It's August 5th, 2025, about 1:15 in the afternoon, and Barton Springs has got a lot of people. This is a free side right here. This is the side that you pay for and it's pretty crowded here, especially for a weekday afternoon. A lot of people enjoying the last part of summer here, so we have the free area where you can just come up and then the bridge right here, it looks really nice, really peaceful, and a fun day at Springs. So I'm at the free side of Barton Springs right now. This is how you can just come up with and have your dogs come with playing the frisbees, with the dogs and lots of fun times, a lot of dogs just running around. It's August 5. 25, it's the hottest part of the day, but there's still a lot of people out here. This is like an Austin tradition. I think it's one of the largest watering holes in Austin, but this is the free side. That's the side that you pay for. That's a little bit more low key, and this side is no this side is more laid back and that side is more like structured, I guess. But thanks for watching, Mr. G City vibe.
