Video Transcript
Hey, good morning y'all. It's Thursday morning, May 29th, it's 8:35. Just arriving uh at the 40 acres. This is Gary over at the University of Texas. It's the morning after, uh, quite a violent storm swept through Austin. Uh, this is one of the, the mature live oaks, I think, um, which are just close to the intersection of Guadalupe at the main. Crosswalk there, as you can see, good sized tree limb down uh blocking the sidewalk this morning. And uh I noticed a lot of the facilities guys are already out here, uh, in their trucks, uh picking up after last night's weather event.
This is Gary over at the University of Texas. It's the morning after quite a violent storm swept through Austin. It's Thursday morning, May 29th. It's uh 8:39. The facilities guys have already been out, um, moving the smaller, tree debris out from the main crosswalks and they're out here now in the facilities trucks as you can see, like this one here on the West Mall, a little bit further up we've got a crew who are out in a side-by-side. Um here we go, a couple of hardworking guys out here getting these dead tree limbs out of the flower beds and loaded up, um. It's only 8:30 and they've done a real good job, um, of tidying up here. So there's really not too much interfering with. Pedestrian traffic on the West Mall. Of course school is out so it's pretty quiet over here. Uh, anyway, so that's your view from the University of Texas on Thursday morning.
