Urban Tranquility. Modern Design Meets Urban Oasis: Discovering Tranquility in Downtown Austin

I'm Shanti. It's Wednesday morning 9:40 a.m. uh May 13th. It's a muggy, overcast morning in the ATX. So this is Gary. I'm over at the Blanton Museum. Uh, that's right next to MLK and the Capitol Mall, the very south end of the university campus. The usual vistas this morning haven't been so great with such an overcast sky, so for my morning reflections, I thought I'd come out to this beautiful urban space right in front of the Blanton, and I've got it all to myself. The only thing that is missing out here would be a cup of coffee, I have to say. The Blanton Coffee Shop is currently closed for remodeling, should be open by the start of next semester though, and that really will put the cherry on the sundae of this beautiful concourse.
