Spring Break Leads to Quieter Streets at UT Campus

Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from UT. It's Tuesday morning, uh, 9:53, and it is, uh, March 18th. I'm at the inte section of Guadalupe and 24th, right by the University United Methodist Church and, uh, across from the CVS There we go, 24 hour CVS. Yeah, this intersection on any given weekday is usually one of the congestion spots on campus, quite tricky to navigate if you're on foot, but it is spring break this week, so vehicle traffic is a lot lighter than usual. Uh, pedestrian traffic as well is extremely light. I'm starting to see a few families who are doing the reverse spring break where maybe parents are coming into town to visit their kids, seeing some people looking like they're heading towards the university co op for the uh burnt orange swag that they sell there, but definitely a quieter than usual, uh, Tuesday morning on the drag at the University of Texas. Hey y'all, it's Gary checking in from the University of Texas campus. It's a Tuesday morning. I'm just crossing the intersection now of Guadalupe and 24th. And right outside of the 24 hour CVS. I wanted to show you how light, uh, traffic and parking is this morning. I'm seeing street side. Parking available uh alongside Einstein's bagels, alongside Urban Outfitters, and I noticed that the public parking garage on the corner of 25th, the paid parking is only about a 3rd full as well this morning. Here we go, someone taking advantage of a parking spot right here. So vehicle traffic starting to pick up but definitely lighter than usual. It is spring break, after all, and here's one more look north along the drag on a beautiful Tuesday morning at the University of Texas.
