Morning Rush. Busy Morning on the Drag as Food Pantry Draws Crowd

Hey, it's Saturday morning. March 29th at 8:59 a.m. And this is Gary checking in from the University of Texas. I'm outside of the uh Einstein bagels on the drag, near the intersection of 24th and Guadalupe. Uh. quite a busy morning on the Drag Uh, our friends at the United Methodist Church have a food pantry, which is open on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. till 9:30, there to help assist our friends in Austin’s unhoused population, so kind of quite boisterous over there at the moment, uh, with the increased pedestrian traffic. Uh, vehicle traffic is light, everything's moving smoothly along the drag, as you can see in both directions. And that's your view from the intersection of 24th and Guadalupe on Saturday morning.
