Zilker Storm Aftermath. Flooded Conditions Persist on Zilker Park Trails Following Overnight Storm

May 30, 2025. I'm at the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail after today, last night's early morning storm today, uh, and there's a lot of wet conditions out here. I'm on the north shore of the trail. It's not many people out here and uh lots of debris and stuff, not just from the first storm, but from the storm that recently happened as well. Uh, the trail is wet, there's lots of tunnel everywhere. Um, very wet conditions, cloudy morning here. Mr. G reporting for City Vibe. May 30th, 2025, 8:14 in the morning. Mr. G reporting for City vibe. I'm at the town Lake Hike and Bike Trail on the north shore of the trail just before the I-35 bridge. I know there was a big storm last night, so there is lots of debris floating on the water, uh. But this right here is just litter from people. Austin, we have to do better. There's trash cans within a few walking feet. Uh, you gotta make sure to always clean up your litter, especially on a beautiful nature picturesque area like this. A lot of this debris is from the storm and stuff, but I do notice beer cans and like Gatorade as well. Mr. G reporting for City Vibe.
