Zilker Park Soaked. Zilker Park's Great Lawn Left Soggy After Recent Rains: Visitors Advised to Bring Towels

It's Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 12:56 in the afternoon. You see the Austin skyline in the background. Ziler Park has got puddles everywhere. There's nobody out here. If you're out here, you gotta make sure to bring a towel, cause the grass and everything is super wet. There's just puddles all over the place here at Ziler Park at the great lawn at Ziler Park. Great Lawn is empty today. Uh, wet conditions at Zilker, Mr. G reporting for City Vibe, Aloha. I'm at the trail by Ziler Park, and I just saw the train go by. There was only a few people in it. Not many people are out here today at Ziler Park. It is uh 12:59 right now, and a lot of people are out because of the storm last night. They're leaving huge puddles all through the park and all on the trail. So if you're gonna come out here, you're probably gonna get wet. Normally there's a lot of people on the bridge right here, but there's nobody here today. Uh, because, like I said, it's very, uh, wet conditions here at the trail by Ziler Park.
