Deep Eddy Pool Bustles with Activity on a Warm Saturday Afternoon

Video Transcript
Hey everyone, I hope you're having a great Labor Day weekend. It's Saturday, uh, May 24th. It's 12:45 p.m. and this is Gary over at Deep Eddie Pool. Uh, Deep Eddy's is a nice alternative to the scene over at Barton Springs sometimes. Deep Eddy Pool is the oldest swimming pool in Texas, in fact, it's been around since the 1920s. It started its life as a little swimming hole just adjacent to the Colorado River. And as you can see, it's absolutely hopping out here on this 90 degree day. Closest to the camera here is a little shallow kiddie pool and then just off in the distance you can see there's some lap swimming action going on. Yeah, plenty of folks out laying out on their towels. And it's just a stone's throw west of Mopac on Lake Austin Boulevard. Uh, the only thing is parking can be a bit of a challenge here, and I'm gonna take a walk up to the parking lot now and see what we can see.
