Discover Austin's Hidden Gem: A Serene Start with Bees Behind Four Seasons

Hey, good morning everyone. This is Gary from City Vibe, just easing into the day on the backside. Of the Four Seasons Hotel, bringing you a serene start with a sting in the tail, hopefully not a sting in my tail! Um, there's actually an apiary back here, uh, beehives. And uh let me see how close we can safely get. So the hives are framed in this beautiful honeycomb sculpture. Um, and the 3 hives actually just sit there behind it, those 3 yellow boxes. Uh, this is about as close as I'm gonna get. Obviously I don't want to get stung, but more importantly, uh, these guys are hard at work. Uh, so I'm going to let them be. No pun intended and um yeah, this space is accessible by a little stone staircase that brings you up off the Butler Hike and bike trailer right by the rowing dock. Everyone, Gary from City vibe here, just leaving the hardworking bees of the four seasons behind and it's accessible by this, uh, stone staircase that brings you up off the Butler hike and bike trail through this beautiful grove of what I think are crepe myrtle trees. Been using the iPhone, flora and fauna identifier, um. Whatever they are, the bark is absolutely stunning and these white flowers are quite beautiful. And as you can see, we're really just a skip and a jump from the butler hike and bike trail. Uh Just off there in the distance you can make out uh the Austin Rowing Club. So yeah, beautiful time just to respectfully, uh, pay a visit to the bees, you know, noting that they are a part of the Four Seasons Hotel.
