Video Transcript
Hey y'all, it's Saturday lunchtime, uh, 12:09, March 29th. This is Gary checking in from the West Mall at the University of Texas. I'm, uh, right outside the old Flawn library. You got the Cactus Cafe down there. That's a view across the Drag. And I've just stumbled across 40 acres fest, uh, which is just starting now on the main mall. Uh, that's the little line of people you can see. Uh, it is restricted to UT students and Faculty only, it's not actually a public event, uh, little peek over the fence for you, and that's going on from 12 noon, uh, right through till past sunset. So that's the view from the West Mall University of Texas on Saturday lunchtime.

It's a beautiful late spring, lunchtime here on the 40 acres, and, uh. You can see a little uptick in pedestrian traffic on the West Mall folks headed up to the 40 acres fest, uh, which is taking place on the main mall at the base of the Tower. I also notice that there's a band playing tonight at the Cactus Cafe. 7:30 p.m free admission, so that's your view from the 40 acres on a beautiful March lunchtime.
