Hotel Traffic Surge. Austin Hotels Surge with Gamers Amid Convention Buzz

Friday, June 20, 2025 and outside the Fairmount Hotel, the beautiful Fairmount. It's pretty busy. There's electric cabs, there's nice sports cars, Audis and see it too, but uh. Very busy. A lot's going on this weekend. There's a video game convention, so they have a dog bed with a dog, a stray dog, but um there's a video game convention happening this weekend, so I think a lot of hotels are packed with gamers in Austin. All the hotels are pretty much cooked. Friday June 20th, I'm in the Fairmount Hotel where it's a lot of visitors here in Austin this week. Uh, the classic game fest is having at the Palmer Events Center, so a lot of, uh, visitors here. This is one of the nicer establishments, the Fairmount in downtown Austin. And a lot of people are enjoying Friday afternoon at 6:54. Lovely Lovely bar here for Fairmount to show you the beautiful car. Mr G reporting for City vibe. And uh the bar surprisingly. OK, it's not too busy in here.
