Quiet Morning at University Fountains Attracts Graduates
Video Transcript
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from the University of campus. I'm right by the Littlefield fountains on 21st Street. That's between Whitis Avenue and, uh, University Avenue and un very light pedestrian traffic here, really the only folks who I've seen out here are grads and their families, uh, using the fountain as a backdrop for their graduation pics. So beautiful spring morning, very light pedestrian traffic here, uh, considerable construction still going on on 21st between Whitis and University Ave. This is Saturday morning. It's 10:24 a.m. and it is March 22nd, and that's your view from the south edge of campus right by the Littlefield fountains.
Hey y'all, this is Gary checking in from the University of Texas campus. It's, uh, Saturday morning 10:30 a.m. It's March 22nd, just crossing over 21st Street. I'm at the intersection of 21st and University Ave just highlighting the level of, uh, construction and road closures going on here on 21st right outside the university Catholic Center. Uh, only the westbound lane is open on 21st between Wittes and University Ave. This is going to be problematic over the next 24, 48 hours, with the Red Bus that comes in from out of town, this is the drop off location. So as campus begins to repopulate over the next 24, 48 hours, this is going to be quite a pinch point. So that's your view from the south edge of the University of Texas campus, uh, Saturday morning, March 22nd.
