Farmers Market Buzz. Austin Farmers Market Brings Fresh Flavors to Republic Square with Local Favorites

Hey everyone, it's Saturday morning, May 31st, 9:40 a.m. This is Gary. I'm just arriving at the downtown Farmers Market. It's right next to uh Republic Square Park Between 3rd and 4th. This is the view looking north. As you can see it's already Good and busy out here. Take a look at a couple of my favorite stores. Always, uh, always like Wuuf Dog, thinking of a lot of rawhide action going on here. Something for the pups and then I'm gonna see if I can find some price guides for you here. So this is always one of the busies market booths, uh, Shirttail Creek Farm, a lot of, lot of protein here as you can see. Look at this guy, boy, he’s in doggie heaven! Hey y'all, it's Saturday morning. It's Gary over at the, uh, downtown SFC Farmers' Market. Uh, it's 9:46 on May 31st. I tell you one thing I've noticed this morning that is different, as this construction is ramping up right here, uh, at Third Street, it's sort of displaced the market slightly. It's pushed everything. Uh, north, uh, it's still set alongside Republic Square Park, uh, but honestly, uh, this is a bit of a buzzkill, you know, to the right hand side we've got a, a tarmac crew working, uh, right next to all this beautiful. Uh, organic produce here, but that's just Austin for you folks. Hey, look at this good stuff here. So that's the view from kind of a noisy and dusty Republic Square farmers' market.
